WellMate ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Health & Diet Data: Meals logged, calorie entries, water intake, sleep logs, weight, height, age, gender, and health module data you voluntarily provide.

Usage Data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, session duration). No personal health data is sent to analytics.

Payment Data: Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your credit card or bank details. We only store the payment ID and subscription status.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalise your diet and health tracking experience
• To calculate your calorie goals based on your body stats
• To sync your data across devices
• To process premium subscription payments
• To send you reminders (only if you enable notifications)

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) with security rules ensuring only you can access your own data. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or health data with third parties. Data is only shared with:

• Firebase/Google Cloud: For data storage and authentication
• Razorpay: For payment processing (only payment-related data)
• Google Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics only

5. Your Rights

• Access: View all your data within the app
• Delete: Delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Delete My Account
• Export: Request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Correction: Update your profile information anytime in the app

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed from our servers.

7. Children's Privacy

WellMate is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
